A knot in my chest,
Tangled and tight,
Like a ball of yarn,
Knotted up in fright.
A knot in my chest,
Heavy and daunting,
Like a boulder on my chest,
Relentlessly haunting.
A knot in my chest,
Stifling and suffocating,
Like a python's grip,
Endlessly waiting.
A knot in my chest,
Painful and persistent,
Like a thorn in my side,
Unforgiving and resistant.
But the knot in my chest,
Can be undone,
With a deep breath and a moment of rest,
The battle can be won.
So to the knot in my chest,
I say farewell,
I'll find peace and rest,
And break free from this spell.
