The Longer Route Home!

The fridge is full, waiting for stuff to be eaten,
But even with its lucious aroma, it's not the same...
Without the love you pour into it!

The floor is clean, without a spec of dirt on it,
But I miss your littered crayons here and there...
The bright Colors on your canvas is what I miss!

I continue to stare at the telephone,for it to ring,
This long distance isn't working for me...
I wish you were hear in my arms!

People saying all this crazy things to make me laugh,
But their jokes are not the same...
Without you to laugh besides me!

Our home is empty,
Only left are walls and windows and doors...
All this stuff, means nothing without you to share!

And to avoid all this,
And not to feel hollow inside...
I take winded cobbled stone path...
I take the Longer Route Home!

मेहमान!

इन दिनों अपने घर भी मेहमान की तरह आता हूँ,
कुछ चंद दिन ही अपनों के बीच बिताता हूँ,
जो भी मिलता है बस उनके दो ही सवाल है!
क्या हो सकते हैं? सोचिये!
कब आए बेटा घर? उसका जवाब मिलते ही !
कब जाना है वापस?

इन दिनों अपने घर भी मेहमान की तरह आता हूँ,
कुछ चंद दिन ही अपनों के बीच बिताता हूँ,
कई साल बीत गए घर को छोड़े हुए,
एक भविष्य की तलाश में निकले थे!
सोचा था भविष्य मिलते ही चल पड़ेंगे,वापस घर की ओर!
पर जो मिला वो कल था या आज?
भविष्य बस आगे बढ़ चला!
